Hawkins began his journey in public service as a pastor, serving his community with compassion and dedication. Currently, he continues his public service as a councilman on the San Jacinto City Council in Riverside County, California. Through his role, he works diligently to address local issues, advocate for community needs, and ensure transparency and accountability in government.
